The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has unveiled plans to construct a library near the Museum of African Liberation site, which will be named after President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The visionary leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa has seen the country recording success stories in variou5s areas that include legal, infrastructural development, agriculture, mining, international relations and education.
In addition, Cde Mnangagwa has well documented liberation war credentials and as such, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has seen it fit to establish a library in his honour.
The library, to be established opposite the Museum of African Liberation site in Warren Park, will complement the objectives to document, preserve and protect the story of Africa from an African perspective.
The envisaged Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa library which will also be accessible online is expected to be funded by the private sector and other progressive organisations.
