Never Procrastinate: When to take Action

Deutronomy 1:6-7

The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.  7  Break camp and advance and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighbouring people, I  the Arab, in the mountains, in the western foothills in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates

Don’t let fear of the unknown hold you back, remember that even though a ship is safest while in harbour it was built to sail. Develop a habit of taking action, overcome laziness and your reluctance to change.  In every business there is a time to move on, to try new things and look for new opportunities. Create some momentum and insist that your staff follow suit.

God had to instruct Israel to move forward, He said; You have stayed long enough at this mountain, turn and set your journey” It is easy to become complacent in business, simply doing the same familiar things day after day. Before long you can become reluctant to move into new business ventures or to undertake new projects. In our rapidly changing global economy, maintaining the status quo is a dangerous mindset.

In every business there is a time to try on new things and look for new opportunities, do not delay and you will watch your business steadily move forward each day.
